The Green Technology Centre will be a new 13.5 million building at Peterborough College, part of the Inspire Education Group.
The centre will deliver an innovative curriculum to get students ready for careers such as sustainable construction and electric vehicle manufacturing. These sectors are calling out for qualified future employees and offer high wages.
Project status
Following Towns Fund approval of the business case, we have secured £2million from the Government for this project. Additional funding will come from Inspire Education Group, along with other funding streams to be confirmed.
Construction is completed and an opening ceremony to celebrate is being planned.
