Introduction

Fixed penalty notices are issued for environmental crimes and breaches of a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) by Prevention and Enforcement Service (PES) officers who work for the council.

Before you pay

If you pay the fixed penalty in full within 28 days of issue there will be no further action.

If you fail to pay the fixed penalty notice within the 28 days you face having the matter dealt with by the court. If you have received a summons and it is within the next 5 working days then please be aware it is too late to make a payment as court proceedings will have already started.

You will need your Fixed Penalty Notice number, postcode and payment details close-to-hand to complete payment or raise a challenge.

Your Fixed Penalty Notice number is printed on the ticket or letter you may have received.
