Peterborough Crematorium has a wide choice of memorials available to allow families to commemorate their loved one.
You can lease most of our memorials for a period of time (5, 10 or 20 years). There is also the option of renewing the lease for a further period (from 1 to 20 years).
It's not always possible to place a memorial where the cremated remains are scattered. However, you can buy a choice of various memorials, in designated locations, some of which are in the same area where the scattering has taken place.
Alternatively, you may lease a memorial where it is possible to have one to four sets of cremated remains placed inside for the duration of the lease. You can choose from Sanctum 2000, Family Niche, Niche memorial vase or Silver Birch Spinney.
Permanent memorials
Book of Remembrance
Our most popular memorial facility is the Book of Remembrance. It is the only permanent memorial available at Peterborough Crematorium. All inscriptions placed in the main book of remembrance will also be available on the ScribePlus website.
Prices start from £108.00 for a two line inscription. Full costs are detailed on the application form.

- The inscription can be duplicated into our children's book (age 0-16) of remembrance at no extra cost.
- You can choose to only have an entry in the children's book, and this will not appear on the ScribePlus website.
- All applicants will receive one electronic swipe card, which enables you to view the entry on our electronic screen any day of the year.
You can request to have a flower vase, reserved adjacent to the Book of Remembrance, on the day the entry is displayed. There are a maximum of six vases available each day, these are allocated on a first come, first served basis and bookings can be made up to one month in advance. Other memorials
At the Crematorium there is a selection of Glass Memorials and jewellery that can incorporate the cremated remains of your loved one.
Bereaved families can also make a donation towards the cost of flowering bulbs, which are planted in various areas within the Grounds.
