Residents in Peterborough are being asked for their views on healthy behaviour services in the area, as part of ongoing work to help support people’s health and wellbeing.
The council is encouraging people to take part in a public survey into people's motivations for living healthily and what behaviours they undertake to achieve this. It looks at subjects including smoking, alcohol usage, diet, physical activity and access to NHS Health Checks.
Responses will help the council identify ways in which we can better support the health and wellbeing of residents by ensuring that services effectively meet people's needs. Participants also have the chance of winning £50 Amazon vouchers.
Councillor Dr Shabina Qayyum, Peterborough City Council’s Cabinet Member for Adults and Health, said: “We are fully committed to providing the right health services for our communities, but it's always a good idea to take stock of what our residents need.
“This survey will be really beneficial for us moving forwards, so I would urge everyone to please take a few minutes of their time to complete it.”
Information provided in the survey will only be used for research purposes by S Squared Analytics to help the council understand more about the issues that may influence health behaviours.
The survey is completely anonymous and participants do not have to leave any personal details unless they want to be entered into the prize draw for one of four £50 Amazon vouchers, which requires confirmation of an email address.
