Consultation Started: 28 Feb 2025 - Consultation Ended: 28 Mar 2025

Resolved: At the end of the petition period

We are carrying out a public consultation from 28 February to 28 March 2025. You can have your say on the proposal to implement a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) for Pleasure Fair Meadow Car Park.

Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPO) enable Local Authorities to deal with a particular issue in a particular area that is having a detrimental effect on the quality of life for those in the local community.

When considering to implement a PSPO, Local Authorities are required to consult with the Police and Crime Commissioner, Chief Constable, key interested parties and the public before a decision can be made on implementing an order. Once implemented, PSPOs last for three years.
